When I bath a child, I move the crane to the red side until the hot water goes. Then I turn it to the blue half, so that it doesn’t fade. The child, however, is convinced that red means cold water, and blue means hot water. No, it is still right! When the crane is red, it is cold, when blue it is hot. She is a serious girl, struggling with the ignorance of others as much as she can, and every time she must try to open my eyes to this fact. I explain to her how I can, but of course she believes her eyes more than her dad.
It can be understood. The experience is demonstrated every night, the result is always the same. Red is cold, blue is hot. What to argue about? These adults have such strange beliefs, and you can't convince them in any way, relying on their own and none. But we know that it is in practice that the truth is known!
