The most important thing that distinguishes the USSR from the present Russia is the lack of faith in the future. Lack of confidence in tomorrow. And – the absence of wonderful enthusiasts, the very idealists you laugh at now. People gave free time, talent and energy, making our lives more interesting and diverse. We had a student theater at the institute, where a wonderful woman was not in charge, not in charge of profession, not for money, but in favor of a wonderful woman! We disappeared there in the evenings and nights, we put up performances, let it be naive, funny, we then played on the holidays shows, bringing out the house curtains for costumes... but we did not drink vodka, did not smoke, did not crack, and did not replace our only life by sitting in front of the computer...
