There are three types of calories, they are not related to the concept of a metric system (meter. Sis-ma is only length, weight, area and volume), and it is not a SI unit, so 1 gram of water requires the cost of 4,217 J to heat by 1 degree.
A "The quantity of hydrogen mass" is something beyond the line. In general, 1 mol of hydrogen atoms (hydrogen) is contained in approximately 9 grams of water.
