Richard Strauss was a great conductor. At one time he was a conductor at the Munich Opera House. During the performance of Tristan, the orchestra broke up so that Strauss, who directed this performance, wanted to give a signal to close the curtain. Suddenly, the trombones entered the place, all the groups of the orchestra clinged and the act was completed safely. When Strauss asked the trombonists, "How did you manage to enter correctly in such a chaos?" they answered unsettlingly: "We have a huge number of pauses, we go out of the orchestra to our room, play in the bones, drink beer and, when the time is right for our entry, we enter the orchestra hole, take our instruments in our hands and no conductor of the world can beat us."
