The central bank will issue banknotes of 2,000 and 200 rubles in 2017, the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabylina told reporters.

According to her, the design of the new banknotes is not yet determined, the Bank of Russia will choose it with the help of public condemnation, TASS reports.
