The year 51 v. After eight years of war with the Gallies, Caesar returns with triumph. Rome celebrates victory over the enemy and Caesar's return home. Some time later, in the capital of the empire, Pompey, the beloved senator of the people, loses his wife, the daughter of Caesar. Julius, who was informed of the actions of the Senate, decides to enter Rome by force. The army is headed by Lucius Varen and legendary Tit Pulo. They enter Rome and discover an empty city, without institutions of power. These actions forced the Senate to proclaim Caesar a dictator. Pompey, in order to avoid a civil war, leaves Rome with his wife and the rebellious senators go to Greece. Meanwhile, Lucius returns home and notices that his wife has changed, and a secret connection is discovered between Titus and Octavia.
