How I taught frogs to catch mosquitoes.
April of 1998. My daughter 7 years. Walk near the river.
Beginning of May. Near the shore of the frog squirrel.
He showed the daughter, explained what the frogs would get out of.
My daughter wanted to see how it happened.
“Why not?” I thought.
He cut off a few icons, put it in a bowl and brought it home.
He poured water into an old empty aquarium and threw caviar there.
Three days later the larvae broke out. They hanged on the remains of caviar and slowly moved with their tails.
They had outer frogs and they were not similar to the headstops.
Within a week, they were already mountainous and actively swimming. He fed eggs and some greens.
By the middle of the summer, small frogs appeared from large and thick hives. Somehow decreased a lot.
There were nine. I made them foam rods so that they could get out of the water.
They stopped eating from the water. Now they have to catch mosquitoes. And they cannot.
I took the tube worms stuck behind the thread and shaken for hours in front of the frog mouths.
Not immediately, but the instinct worked. Everyone started to catch the worms.
The daughter was delighted. The frog did not complain either. As they grew up a little, he took them to the pond, to winter. I hope you have become worthy frogs and have not embarrassed me before the whole pond.
My daughter has grown up and has become a mother.
