Detective a la Russ, clearly written under Fandorin and conceived first in the cycle. The plot is overwhelmed (the Aunt Agatha is traced as a second source of inspiration), the characters are cut out of cardboard, but painted with anyline paints and therefore turned out to be vivid (general, I suspect, fully drawn from Bulgakov, and it is not excluded that with far-reaching plans for screen-making... :)
The correspondence to the era is at the level of mass consciousness. Procols can be found a lot, if such a goal is set. No, it seems that the author worked, the letters picked up. But the overview of encyclopedias cannot replace systematic knowledge.
However, to spend the evening on a cheek that unloads the brains - for this purpose the book is quite suitable. Don’t expect anything from her, except for entertainment.
