Nikita Jigurda said he was ready to lead the gay parade in Russia, and offered Philip Kirkorov to join it, reports "Tatar-inform".
“Even six or ten years ago, gay culture was completely incomprehensible to me. And only after meeting with my current wife Anisina and some of her friends, who are gay, I became more loyal to them,” said the actor and musician at a meeting with journalists in Kazan.
Gigurda said he would go to the parade in defense of gay rights because he is not a homophobe and calls for judging gay people “not by their shell.”
“In addition, with my devotion to gay culture, I am ready to lead a gay parade. If Philip Kirkorov had acknowledged himself as gay, in my opinion, he would have become the gay king of Russia. He would be the Russian Elton John or the Russian Philip Zvezda.
