While in the North African Theatre of Action of World War II, German tankers have established a tradition of moving heaps of camel debris for happiness. Seeing this, the Allies made anti-tank mines masqueraded under these mobs.
After some of them worked, and German tanks exploded on them, enemy tankers began to carefully avoid the untouched rubble.
Then the Allies made some improvements to such mines: they began to be manufactured with traces of the tanks that had already moved them.
