Just if going to the theaters for a person - a sign of status, image, a certain social role - all the other status elements (dresses / fracks / monkeys and I don't know what else) belong to him. Just like gold chains for the "brothers", forgive me for this comparison.
And if it is to read a book, to run to a concert in the philharmonic or to some interesting exhibition in the underground museum (and these are not such uncombinable things, as it seems to culture snobs) for you there is nothing special - then you will not get out of mind. The inner culture of a person is visible in any case - what in the dress, what in the jeans. Unculture is either dirty, unclean clothes, or frankly tasteless (and a very expensive dress can be tasteless). But even more unculture, by the way, is to cling to a person because of his clothes and discuss his appearance. Cultural people do not really pay attention to such things.
