YYY: In the time of Emagic Logic 5.5 for Windows, the latter fell from a sharp mouse movement. This is how calm sound directors were raised. In those same years, Cubase 5 VST was able to lose shift marks in sound files, which after opening became all for one time mark. This is how sound directors who can make backpacks were raised. At the same time, or maybe a little later, ProTools loved hanging when opening their own files, opening them approximately once out of five.
