Do you not know that the Orthodox Church does not encourage independent reading of the Bible, because, in the opinion of the Fathers, this may lead to a misunderstanding of it? The main thing for the Orthodox is to go to church, observe fasting, prayer and so on.
Nothing like that, if you don’t understand the subject, then don’t write. In fact, the main thing for the Orthodox person is not fasting and prayer, but regular sacrifices for the needs of the church money, buying candles, ordering prayers and similar things. It is also important for a truly believing person to vote in the elections for the candidate approved by the patriarch and not to roar on the existing authority (for all authority is from God). This is what is really important for the salvation of the soul, not prayer and fasting at all.
