The Supreme Court, which belongs to the Supreme Court of Great Britain, has made a fundamentally new decision that could have serious consequences for the processes of adoption of children by believing families. The court ruled that Christians with traditional views on sexual ethics are not suitable for the role of adoptive parents – their beliefs may be detrimental to children.
In its ruling, the court firmly defended the homosexual worldview. Jones were denied the opportunity to take a child up because of their religious beliefs, despite their good reputation as adoptive parents.
The court ruled that traditional Christian moral beliefs are potentially dangerous for children, and that parents with Christian beliefs should not be considered as potential adoptive parents.
The judges noted that there was no religious discrimination against Jones in the decision, as they were denied the opportunity to raise a child because of their views of sexual ethics, not because of their Christian beliefs.
