I read about psychological tests and remembered how one of my acquaintances (we take children to one music school) told me about the tests in the first class.
She has a child wunderkind, not developed by years. Six years and you talk. And not by itself becomes - an adult, and a strange adult, with a strange worldview. At the same time, the mother is the most ordinary, dad too, genes may have played a role, their grandfather had some professor of some of the sciences there, but the little one did not find him.
His mother told him how they passed a psychological test in the first class. Here I tried to literally write, but recently it was and my husband recounted at home.
They showed a simple picture of a man with a huge hose under a umbrella. It rains, and it waters such a large flower - the type of sunflower and a stream from the hose is drawn so wide, hitting the flower, not the stems.
Ask a Psychologist
Is everything right in this picture?
The little answered.
Not everything. First, if a person watered a flower from a hose with such a pressure of water, the flower would scatter the ground, and it stands straight and without damage. Secondly, it seems to be a fire hose and with such pressure, a person would not hold it in his hands.
The rest is right?
Yes Yes
Is it right that a man waters a flower in the rain?
It is his right, he may have his opinions about it.
For example?
- For example - these lines are not rain at all, but the umbrella he holds from the sun.
Let’s assume that these lines are all rain. And painted a real man, the artist painted from nature as he could.
"Well, let's say, but if you water the flowers from a fire tube and they don't smell on the ground, then this person just washes a flower made of iron or stone, so it stands straight. And if he holds the hose itself with such pressure – it’s very strong or there are still people behind who the artist just didn’t paint.
Well, what about the fact that a man waters a flower in the rain?
The rain does not wash the dirt from the stone flower, but only pops it out, and the dirt is washed out of all the cracks with water under pressure.
"Well, but suppose - the flower is still real, the pressure is not as strong as drawn, just an ordinary person waters a living flower under the rain, is it right?
It is his right.
Okay, but would you do that?
I am not doing gardening.
If I did, would I do it?
and no.
Why Why?
I would spend time reading a book or watching a good movie, and I would have to waste time talking about washing stone flowers.
-You still wasted time on empty, as you think conversations, to answer simply the question - whether it is right to water live flowers from a regular hose when it rains.
I said that I didn’t study horticulture, I wasn’t interested and therefore I can’t say it right or not. If this person is a specialist then he is more visible.
And all this was seriously said by a small six-year-old boy.
The mother was accustomed to the bizarre things of her child, so she perceived everything calmly, and the psychologist was just in shock.
She asked about the second picture, where two boys are drawn, each pulling a toy.
Are these kids doing well? Are they good kids they argue about toys?
What I received questions
Do you know where the dispute started? Whose toys? Who gave them the toy, and is it a fight, or just such a game? What are the rules of this toy? Good children or bad ones cannot be determined by the picture, you need to talk to them.
No more questions the psychologist asked, only said that it was the first time she had such a case, and she does not know how to treat it, but that the boy is unusual is a fact. Developed, but does not see the overall picture, but concentrates on details, rushes into unnecessary details, unusual perception. He reasoned logically and correctly.
