Dasha, a first-class student, goes to school every day with a large backpack. All children are accompanied and taken by someone: mothers, fathers, older brothers, grandmothers, and only Dasha always goes alone.
Through the desert, past the parking lot, then cuts through the courtyards, a little further on the street, further along the fence of the eternal building, past the stadium, crosses a small fence, the garden alley, and here she is in school. School alone too.
Although, in truth, it is only on the side it seems that the girl is going alone, in fact with her always her guardian angel, her beloved grandfather. Sometimes, when Dasha remembers him, she looks somewhere high up into the sky and knows that grandfather is watching her from there from above and not just observes, but supports. Once, near the car park, the way to the girl was blocked by an unfriendly bunch of dogs, Dasha was very frightened and frozen like a buried, but her beloved grandfather came down straight from the sky and the dogs in a moment rushed out. It is good to have a guardian angel in heaven.
Dasha's grandfather worked at some military plant all his life, retired and eventually became seriously ill, even lost his legs, so he was sitting at home all the time. He could not physically accompany his granddaughter to school, but he wanted to. He had to shake his engineering old, order a bunch of Chinese parts on the Internet and build a strange kind of quadrocopter, the size of a football ball.
The grandfather can't walk, so he flies under the clouds: to school and back, not for a second without breaking away from the little, favorite point below.
