The European Tolerance
In addition to its hard-to-pronounce name, the Cathedral of St. Istvan and the Garden of Ruins, the Hungarian city of Sekesfehervar (Székesfehérvár) will enter history as the first European city to be officially punished for living in it "too many white and happy people."
This definition issued the jury of the contest for the title of “Cultural Capital of Europe-2023”, in which all participants had to submit videos about their cities.
The video of the Hungarian city of Sekesfehervar was outraged and rejected by members of the commission as a “propaganda film of white and Christian Europe.” The city was excluded from the contest.
