The forgotten souls

For a long time no one took the baby from the maternity department.

It happens so. They refused, and no one expressed any wishes. So, the baby stuck there and was temporarily placed on a free bed. But as you can see, he was not very pleased with it and he spoke so that his ears lay.

One day I silenced. And the frightened nurse, who ran to see what had happened to him, and was not suffocated by such a scream, was surprised to see...

She saw that a big grey cat, a common pet and a puppy was pressing to him. He just did not give himself to anyone and categorically refused to go on his hands.

Yes, of course, everyone knew that the cat in the department had nothing to do and could not do at all. But try to explain this to the cat, and to everyone who fed him. So despite all the prohibitions and threats of execution, the gray cat was like a full-time employee with the function of a psychotherapist for workers.

The nurse tried to drive the furry off the bed, but the little boy grabbed him with all his pennies, and wildly cried when they tried to separate them. The whole department ran to look at this picture, and even the strict head, scaredly blaspheming and promising to dismiss everyone, approached and struck the grey parent.

So they lay together. The cat left for a short time for his affairs and to eat, and the baby humbly waited for the return of the acquired daddy.

And then there were those who wanted to take him, but how it turned out that he was not going to leave without his four-year-old parent.

He has his tail! The adopters came.

Well, sooth - agreed sadly honey sisters. What to do? As you take it, so little it begins to roar and suffocate.

In short, the story became known outside the hospital, and in addition to all the staff who came to see, photograph and bring submissions to the furry parent, very different couples began to come.

They have long agreed to both. The cat did not want to. You can laugh, but the baby was not taken until the cat agreed to go into the hands of the new parents.

So they both took them. A man carries a cat in his arms and a woman carries a child. Everyone got what they wanted. The cat embraced the man’s legs behind his neck and placed his head on his left shoulder.

The nurses watched this picture with amazement.

The insulting and terrible chief doctor, who came out with everyone to accompany a couple, looked at it and said:

Good parents, I tell you. I know. I have five such puppets. They know who is the best.

And suddenly, realizing that he had overwhelmed the excess, he tumbled and began to mock everyone, because it is not necessary to look, but to work, the devil take.
