My childhood was spent in the 90s in a small village in the middle of the taiji. Then much less cared about all age ratings and other heresy. I then watched all kinds of movies with my parents, including Secret Materials, Predator, Alien, Shakma and so on, and of course I was afraid of all the wildness that was shown there. And every time I was afraid, my dad said about the following: "We have 40 weeks of winter standing, no chupacabra will survive in our forest in the winter" and that reassured me.
And then I, for some reason alone, watched John Carpenter’s 1982 film Something.
