Facts from LOTR:
- used 48000 all sorts of swords, tails and other armor;
- 20600 actors were involved in various mass scenes;
2,400 staff (makeup, installation, special effects, sound, etc.)) ;
250 horses were involved in one scene.
- 114 personal roles (characters pronouncing at least a couple of replicas per film);
30 actors taught non-existent languages and dialects;
The entire trilogy took the creators seven years.
